Please donate to GiantTortoise.org

We rely on grants and donations to keep our programme and GiantTortoise.org alive. Your donation, however small, will allow us to continue and improve our science and outreach/education activities.

$50 will pay for 1 month of essential travel costs to keep us operational.
$100 will pay for a school field trip to meet the tortoises in the wild.
$500 will equip a Galapagan researcher with essential field equipment.
$1000 will pay the monthly salary of a Galapagan researcher.

You can donate to GiantTortoise.org via our friends at The Lonesome George online store by clicking on the donate link below and following the instructions.

Support GiantTortoise.org by purchasing authentic Galapagos apparel from our partner at The Lonesome George online store. A contribution from your purchase will go directly to the collaborative education and outreach activities being managed by Lonesome George and Co and GiantTortoise.org

Become a friend or fan on Facebook

Please become friends with our tortoises and a fan. We have 2 giant Galapagos tortoise Facebook profiles for GPS tagged individuals (Sebastian and Carolina), and a fan site of GiantTortoise.org called the Galapagos Tortoise Project! Share your ideas and your enthusiasm, and help us do a better job of spreading the word locally on Galapagos, nationally throughout Ecuador, and internationally throughout the world.

For researchers

If you are a wildlife biologist, ecologist, animal movement modeller, or a natural historian, please have a look at our data on Movebank. Feel free to download the data and play with them. If you can bring a skill to our analysis of giant tortoise movement ecology and migrations, please contact us and let's see how we can collaborate.
